Welcome to the 4th biennial university staff and student (PGR) research conference which will take place in Inverness from Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th November 2016.

This year, we are delighted to be returning to Inverness and our conference venues will be the recently opened Inverness College UHI campus on day one and then we move to the Kingsmills Hotel for days two and three.

With around 200 staff and students attending to take advantage of the opportunities to network and develop and share ideas, the conference is not to be missed. The event is open to all the university’s research active staff and postgraduate students and those in the formative or early stages of their research careers are especially encouraged to attend.

So why should you attend:

  • Find out what the university’s Research Clusters are all about? How you can take part in their work and activities, and what they are planning to do in the year ahead in support of the academic community?
  • Celebrate the continuing growth and success of our PGR students during special training sessions devoted to their needs and throughout the main conference.
